Christmas has come and gone and now the credit card bills are starting to come in the mail. Here is a budget friendly meal plan for the new year.
At our house we make a big pot of chili on Sunday and after having chili for dinner that night, we do many other things with it during the week. We make things like chili burritos, taco salad, nachos, loaded baked potatoes, Cincinnati Spaghetti, chili cheese dogs, or chili mac and cheese.
This kind of meal plan saves time and money because with the chili already made, the rest of the meals are more of an, “assemble and heat up” process. It’s a great way to get kids started in the kitchen and it saves money because many of the ingredients cross over the recipes. Chili Recipe Here

Hi Mason, saw you on Good Day! Keep up the great work! Hope you didn’t cut your hand on safety scissors at EV Cain
He did! LOL!
You did good today on Good Day! I love the chili on baked potatoes! Never thought about the burritos!
Keep up the good work!
As always I’m impressed with your skills. They have matured along with you. Where do you find canned jackfruit in Auburn?
We got it at Trader Joe’s in Roseville but don’t go buy it, I have two cans in my pantry. Just let me know when you want to stop by.
